On May 1, 1958, just after Hawaii’s statehood, Aaron & Betty Chaney
took a very modest amount of capital and an abundance of optimism and opened a
one-room office, called Aaron M. Chaney, Inc. Such were the beginnings of Hawaii’s first
independently owned property management company. By 1962, the company added a
commercial brokerage department that specialized in leasing. This rapid growth
along with a statewide expansion of services led to the creation of Chaney,
Brooks & Company in 1980, when Aaron Chaney formed a partnership with
Wendell Brooks, Jr.
Today, NAI ChaneyBrooks remains a
diversified real estate firm in Hawaii
and the Pacific. We offer services which include commercial property management
as well as the sale and leasing of commercial, industrial, retail and
investment properties.
