Tess already had more than ten years of experience in various aspects of real estate when she came to NAI ChaneyBrooks. She began her real estate career at KG Hawaii in their legal department and then moved on, and up, to projects in construction and development. She was involved from the beginning in the development of Oahu's newest multi-million dollar resort and subdivision, the Ko Olina Resort, on the leeward side of the island. Other projects she worked on included the renovation, with new construction, of the Kauai Marriott Hotel, Diamond Resort, Hyatt Regency Waikoloa, and the $360 million Grand Wailea Resort on Maui. Absolutely dedicated to customer service, Tess works tirelessly to make sure that everything runs smoothly at her properties. A life-long resident of the state, Tess is an involved member of the community who believes in going “above and beyond” to make sure her owners' and tenants' needs are satisfied. She is diligent in working to make sure her property owners get the best return on their investment. “I think the main component to property management is understanding my client's needs,” says Tess. Tess' current portfolio includes a diversified mix of properties ranging from office buildings, to health-related properties and industrial, business and technology parks. Among the properties she currently manages are: The Mill Town Center Business & Industrial Park, The Mililani Technology Park, the Kukui Health Building , King's Court, Pavilion 101 Shopping Center, Kalaeloa Industrial Park , the Aloha United Way Building , and The Filipino Community Center. A property manger's duties are extremely wide-ranging and include such things as: developing and reviewing annual budgets and management plan, billing and collecting of rents, arranging for, supervising daily operations and overseeing of vendors, interfacing with owners, tenants, and vendors, keeping track of and scheduling needed maintenance, coordinating with on-site building engineers and facility managers, and facilitating annual board meetings; just to name a few! Tess manages to juggle all of these necessary tasks while maintaining her sense of humor and her composure. She is an active member of the Hawaii Filipino Chamber of Commerce, HFCC. Her affiliation with the HFCC has been a significant factor in her building of a long-term partnership with, and service to, the Filipino community. Her educational background is accounting. Tess has held her State of Hawaii Real Estate License since 1999. |
