Barinna Poon is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Hawaii since 1995. She joined ChaneyBrooks in 2005 after her extensive career experience in companies such as Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Sofos Realty Corporation, and Colliers Monroe Friedlander, Inc.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Barinna is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, and has resided in State of Hawaii since 1989. Barinna's career has started in assisting tenants in obtaining business locations; as well as assists clients understanding market conditions and market potential, and how to translate these into improved performance for both landlords and tenants. Barinna's expertise is in retail/ office property leasing and sales; Landlord and tenant representation of commercial lease transactions involving office and retail tenants; acquisition or disposition of commercial income producing properties; global development project representation.

Notable transactions and clients include office building and shopping center leasing, along with representation of local and internationally known corporations such as: ING Direct, Downtown Macy's Block Properties, City Square Shopping Center, Atkinson Center and McCully Shopping Center, Keo's Restaurants, Kirin Chinese Restaurant, Max's of Manila Restaurant, Koyo USA - Hawaii Deep Sea Water, and Direct TV and many more.

Barinna has traveled extensively in Hong Kong and China in the past six years; and is familiar with its different dialects, regions and traditions. She has also attended the last six International Business Forum Annual Meetings in Hong Kong, as a delegate from Hawaii.

Barinna is actively involved with China Projects: i) a Government/ private company regarding a redevelopment project in Guangzhou near the former airport, and ii) an industrial standard workshop for lease in Shanghai industrial park., and iii) a retail, hotel, and residential redevelopment project in Beijing, China. In addition, Barinna is also worked with oversea Chinese clients finding investment properties in United States.
