As Senior Real Estate Advisor for NAI ChaneyBrooks, Mr. Bush is one of Honolulu’s most experienced commercial real estate leasing and sales specialists for the past eleven years. With an extensive background in the marketing and leasing of office, retail and industrial real estate, Mr. Bush’s practice also includes sales, acquisition and disposition of various types of commercial and investment properties.

Prior to joining NAI ChaneyBrooks, Mr. Bush began his career and gained a wealth of knowledge during his eight years with Colliers Monroe Friedlander, where he was successfully involved in more than 465 transactions involving approximately 500,000 plus square feet of commercial office, retail and industrial space, which earned him an award for “Most Deals Done.”

In 1997, Mr. Bush entered into the world of real estate after 20 years of running his own company as an importer, wholesaler and manufacturer of clothing, novelty items and consumer goods. Mr. Bush brings a wealth of business knowledge and a unique perspective in servicing his client’s real estate needs.

Mr. Bush started his career representing a range of landlords, from institutional owners such as Kamehameha Schools and Campbell Estate, to notable family-owned organizations such as Ward Court Development, HTH Properties, and Petty Corporation. He served as the exclusive leasing agent for over 26 office buildings in Honolulu. At least 80% of his 465 transactions have been on properties that Mr. Bush represented exclusively. While under his control, the occupancy rates increased from 60% to over 90%. This was no easy accomplishment, especially in the light of the fact that a majority of these buildings had numerous challenges to overcome in order to lease them.

Mr. Bush is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Hawaii and is in the process of becoming a member of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He is constantly expanding his knowledge and skills through various avenues within the real estate industry, including marketing and sales seminars.
