The 3-story Center contains two floors of retail shops and a 3-theatre, 462-seat, multi-plex, Wharf Cinema, on the third floor.
Currently, 74.6% occupied, the Center's tenant mix is a collection of retail stores primarily geared toward the visitor, including gift shops,
jewelry stores, clothing shops, as well as food vendors ranging from ice cream and sandwich shops to casual eateries and fine dining. The
Wharf Cinema Center includes one of only three operating theaters on Maui and the only one in Lahaina and West Maui.
The theatre shows first-run movies, which attract visitors and residents alike. In addition, a full-service air-conditioned Conference Room can be rented out daily. The room can accommodate up to 75 people and is equipped with a television set, projector screen,
microphone, podium, chairs, and tables. The levels can be accessed by stairways and a glass elevator at the central courtyard. There is
also an escalator connecting the Wharf and Theater levels.
The Wharf Cinema Center serves as the primary connecting bus stop for the Maui Transit Bus which transports passengers between West Maui and the “other side of the island" – Ma`alaea, Central Maui, South Maui and beyond.
The Center participates in several events throughout the year that attract both tourists and residents. Events include Chinese New
Year, Lighting of the Banyan Tree, 144-year old Banyan Tree Birthday, a Halloween Ghoulish Gala Costume Karaoke Contest, Fourth of
